WHAT TO KNOW

Night Fall is a collaborative performance celebrating seasonal change, nature, the arts, and Hartford. The production is put on utilizing the talents of local artists who are paid for their work. Night Fall is filled with music, dance, costumes, humor, puppets, and boundless imagination.

One does not need to speak English to understand and enjoy the performance.

NIGHT FALL 2026 is happening in the Hartford side of the historic Elizabeth Park. The Hartford side of the park is bordered by Asylum Avenue, Prospect Avenue, Whitney Street and Elizabeth Street. You can learn more by CLICKING HERE.

NIGHT FALL is happening Saturday, October 3, 2026. The performance will begin at 6:30pm with pre-show activities, vendors and food trucks available starting at 1pm. Visit the WELL & WILD toggle below to learn more about the pre-show festival!

The rain date is Sunday, October 4 at 6:30pm.

The fun begins at 1pm with WELL & WILD, a pre-show festival focusing on wellness, arts and connectedness with oneself and others. WELL & WILD is curated by A.G. of Walk in Veracity as part of their Artists of Color Accelerate Night Fall fellowship.

  • Vendors & Food Trucks
  • Creation Stations
  • Community Park Clean-up from 12:30pm to 1:30pm
  • Qigong Movement Flow from 1:45pm-2:15pm
  • Harp Meditation Sessions from 2:30pm-3pm
 
WELL & WILD runs from 1pm to 6pm. Night Fall performance begins at 6:30pm.

TRANSPORTATION

As part of Night Fall’s commitment to sustainability, audiences are urged to use multimodal transportation to come to the show including walking, riding a CT Transit bus, carpooling, scooting, or cycling.

PARKING

Although there is limited parking on the Hartford side of Elizabeth Park, there is ample free parking on the West Hartford side and on-street in the West End neighborhood. Please be respectful of our West End neighbors and be on the lookout for no parking signs.

WHAT TO BRING

We recommend bringing friends, family, yourself, blankets, lawn chairs, coolers, something warm to wear in case it gets chilly, and an open heart! Picnicking is welcome and there will also be on-site food trucks. We ask that you kindly clean up after yourself and take everything you brought with you.
